Matt Damon is a cream puff, or at least a cream puff he partially ate is up for bids on the Belgian version of eBay.
The seller apparently worked on “The Good Shepherd,” starring Damon and Angelina Jolie. The opening bid is $200, and the website claims the cream puff is a “GREAT COLLECTORS ITEM, whether you keep the creme puff or not, you have the ORIGINAL PROP from the movie which is sure to be an OSCAR-nominated film.”
Dick Van Dyke regularly dishes up meals and laughs during Thanksgiving, Christmas and Easter at the Midnight Mission shelter on Skid Row in downtown Los Angeles. Last week, the organization gave Van Dyke its Golden Heart Award.
“I had a little tussle with the demon rum,” Van Dyke said, alluding to his own alcoholism. “I thought, ‘I’ll go down and do a little payback.’ I was amazed – young people, mothers and a lot of kids. The place got under my skin, and it’s been a part of my life ever since.”
Van Dyke, 79, often brings celebrity helpers, such as Carrie Fisher and Ed Begley Jr., to serve food for the holidays.
Bill Clinton visited Dylan’s Candy Bar in New York last week with 11-year-old nephew Tyler and bought no less than 15 pounds of sweets, including gummy candy, Payday candy bars, and even an apple pie and ice cream “mix-in,” according to the New York Daily News.
“They bought out the store,” a witness said. The former president’s spokesman, Jay Carson, assured the News’ Lloyd Grove that “the treats were for his nephew.”
Those secret ingredients on “Iron Chef” and “Iron Chef America” apparently are not such a big secret to the chefs.
A Food Network spokesperson admitted to MSNBC.com that the chefs are given a list of five ingredients in advance. Chefs still have to plan multiple recipes for each ingredient, the spokesperson said.

Tennis star Andy Roddick lost 8 pounds after giving up Krispy Kreme doughnuts, the New York Post said. Alas, Roddick says he’s now addicted to McDonald’s french fries.
