Eastbound I-70 will be closed tonight near Golden, while the Colorado Department of Transportation removes a sign over I-70 and 6th Avenue.
The closure will be between US 40 (exit 259) and West Colfax (exit 262), and will include the ramp from northbound C-470 to eastbound I-70.
The closure is expected to last between midnight at 5 a.m. tomorrow.
Drivers will be directed through a detour, exiting I-70 at US 40 and returning to eastbound I-70 via West Colfax.
CDOT is urging drivers to consider alternate routes.
