The Colorado State softball team opened its home schedule with a doubleheader sweep of Northern Colorado, 7-0 and 11-1.
Freshman Kim Klabough got the win in the shutout, allowing two hits and no walks while striking out five. CSU (14-4) has won 13 of its past 14 games. The Rams’ 1989 team started 27-4. The loss drops UNC to 6-11.
