DOW on antler season

The Colorado Wildlife Commission will consider establishing a specific season for collecting deer and elk antlers at its 9 a.m. Thursday meeting at the Division of Wildlife education building, 6060 Broadway, Denver. The policy body also will finalize regulation banning computerized and remote hunting and will hear a DOW report on the South Platte River waterfowl harvest study. Conejos Superfly on tap

The first annual Conejos Superfly competition on May 13 is designed to call attention to the superb qualities of a river that generally receives little attention from upper Front Range anglers. Hosted by the Conejos River Anglers shop in Mogote, the event is limited to the first 30 two-man teams. Entry fee is $30 per person; phone 719-376-5660.

Bray at Redvale

As part of a regular cycle of public meetings hosted by members of the Colorado Wildlife Commission, Robert Bray will conduct a 6:30-8:30 p.m. Tuesday session at the Redvale Community Center. Several Division of Wildlife managers also will attend.
