The Bloomberg Colorado Index, a price-weighted list of companies based in the state, declined 7.46, or 2.2 percent, to 337.72.
Declining stocks outnumbered those that rose 72 to 40, with two unchanged.
The index followed the same trend as broader U.S. stock indexes by dropping last week.
