Police are searching for a man who allegedly beat his girlfriend and ran off with their infant boy on Sunday, police say.

Jesus Antonio Milan-Nieto, 24, is being sought on a domestic violence arrest warrant for allegedly injuring his girlfriend, said John White, Denver police spokesman.

At about 5:15 p.m. Sunday, Milan-Nieto struck Zulema Salcido, 28, and took their son, Miguel Milan-Salcido, from their home at 4235 West Bayaud Ave., White said.

“We’re concerned that there was a domestic violence incident,” he said.

Police are also concerned about the welfare of the child because he was taken during a violent confrontation.

Milan-Nieto was driving a two-door, late-model Mercury Cougar. The primer grey car has a red top. The baby’s exact age was not known, White said.
