Judd told the magazine she checked into the center to confront depression, isolation and co-dependent relationships. “I needed help. I was in so much pain,” said Judd, who admitted a compulsion to clean and slept to combat depression. Judd said she had a revelation when she visited her sister Wynonna, who was being treated for a food addiction at the Shades of Hope Treatment Center in Buffalo Gap, Texas. Counselors reportedly noticed Ashley’s emotional problems and approached her about treatment.
