Why are you running? I am knowledgeable and experienced in transportation issues and policies, and I can make a positive impact in the future of the North Metro community.
What are the top three challenges facing Colorado or the institution you seek to represent?
Rising construction costs on the completion of the FasTracks project.
Potential tolling along the US 36 corridor.
Increasing bus services to under serviced and growing communities and reducing traffic congestion.
What do you see your role will be in completing RTD’s $4.7 billion FasTracks transit expansion on time and within budget? By insisting on local contracting to maintain a healthy local economy and ensuring a pipeline of trained workers, our community will receive the maximum benefit.
What goals do you have for RTD?
To keep the wheels rolling! As a pro-transit candidate, I plan to use my first hand work experience and apply it to the RTD. My experience has resulted in the removal of over 16,000 vehicles from roadways and approximately 5,000 tons of statewide air pollution.
