How long have you lived in Colorado? Where did you live before? Have lived in Colorado for almost 17 years. Before moving here, lived and worked in Washington, DC. Prior to that, I lived and attended college in Michigan. I was born and raised in Brookline, Mass.

Last book read: Robert K. Murray, “The Harding Era.”

Civic Involvement: Board of Directors, Boulder Chamber of Commerce; Board of Directors, Eco-Cycle; WorkForce Boulder County Board; Board Chair, East Boulder Transportation Mobility Organization.

Major Endorsements:

Why are you running? I am running to contribute my 14 years of transportation policy experience toward strengthening the transit system in the Boulder County area.

What are the top three challenges facing Colorado or the institution you seek to represent?

1. RTD needs to fully implement the FasTracks service commitments while maintaining other important local and regional bus services.

2. RTD must respond to the needs of our growing population of older adults and uphold high customer service standards.

3. RTD must strengthen its Eco Pass program, by keeping the cost fair and easing registration hurdles.

What do you see your role will be in completing RTD’s $4.7 billion FasTracks expansion on time and within budget? I will work to ensure that RTD meets the bus and rail commitments it made in the FasTracks program while advocating for financial accountability.

What other goals do you have for RTD? My goal for RTD is a network of transit services that are an affordable and convenient alternative to automobile travel across the Denver region.
