DENVER – The Colorado Coalition for the Homeless and Renaissance Housing Development Corp. will build a 100-unit housing complex on the South Platte River downtown.
The affordable loft apartments will be built on a 1.3-acre site at 3400 Park Ave. West, adjacent to the Railyards Marketplace, a new retail development under construction at Park Avenue West and Globeville Road.
About 40 percent of the rental loft apartments will be targeted to formerly homeless people being served by the coalition. The balance will be aimed at households at or below 50 percent of the median area income.
