The Air Force men’s golf team shot a third-round 301 to finish in 13th place with a 926 at the University of Texas-San Antonio Intercollegiate at Oak Hills Country Club in San Antonio.
Colorado Springs’ Shaun O’Bryant led the Falcons with a 1-under-par 70 in the final round, tying for fifth place with a 5-over 218.
Rapids win preseason opener
The Colorado Rapids got goals from John DiRaimondo, Roberto Brown, Mike Petke and two from Angel Sosa in a 5-1 win over Universidad Autonoma del Estado de Hidalgo in Pachuca, Mexico.
The two goals were important for Sosa, who is a “trialist” trying to make the team during training camp.
