Getting your player ready...

Aruba has nothing on Aurora this Saturday, as the Colorado Scuba Retailers Association invites certified divers from across the state to take the plunge at the inaugural “Dive into Colorado” scuba-diving day at Aurora Reservoir. Scuba enthusiasts will have the chance to compete for gear and travel prizes in underwater contests like the “poker challenge” and “debris field search,” or simply savor a day of local diving while sampling equipment. The $8 admission includes entrance to dive seminars, contests, raffles and the chance to speak with gear manufacturers and reps. Dive into Colorado runs from 7:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Register at participating CSRA dive stores in advance, or at the Aurora Reservoir on Saturday. Bring your certification card and spend the day diving Colorado, which is, after all, the sixth-most popular scuba-diving state (per capita) in the nation.
