It’s close to: Everything. No need to drive; you’re a block and a half from Main Street’s shopping, dining, clubbing and carriage rides. It’s 150 yards from the Quicksilver lift at the base of Peak 9; it’s even closer to the Blue River Pathway, a trail that winds for miles out of the city into Frisco.
The rooms are: Moderately sized and well appointed. Each living room has a gas fireplace; the sofa is a fold-out bed. The condos are furnished as any “second home” would be, often with books, games and entertainment centers. Some units have a tub jacuzzi. There’s a cozy lounge on the main floor with a large fireplace, and you’ll also find an outdoor hot tub and workout room.
They put all of the money into: The condos were built in 2001, and include free wireless Internet access.
The bottom line: One-bedroom rooms have a patio overlooking the Blue River or the town, a perfect place to enjoy hot or cool drinks. The vistas are spectacular, and you’re in the heart of recreation country. Book online to get a look before deciding. Beware that if you stay fewer than three days, you might be hit with a “cleaning” fee of $50.
