Michael Weston is a senior at Steamboat Springs High School. He is in a leadership class at Steamboat that spearheads homecoming activities, school spirit and assistance in the local community.

Michael is the vice president of his class, a position he also held as a sophomore. He was the junior class president and is president of the National Honor Society.

He works with the elderly, tutors students on his own time and is in training for the Peer Mediation program.

Michael traveled to Mexico in 2006 as part of an outreach mission program to assist an orphanage and counsel children.

Michael played and lettered in varsity golf in his sophomore and junior years, and will letter again as a senior. He was captain of the golf team this year and was awarded first team all-conference.

Michael would like to attend Notre Dame to play college-level golf and graduate with a major in engineering or a science-related field. He plans to become a medical doctor.
