Boulder-based Ball Aerospace won a $12 million contract from Sandia National Laboratories for an antenna system.

The company will develop and build the phased array antenna system for the Ground Nuclear Detection Terminal Integrated Correlation and Display System, part of an early warning system to find ground-based nuclear detonations.

The company will deliver the antenna system units by 2010. It will build on previous antenna programs Ball Aerospace has done for Sandia National Laboratories.
