A Gillette, Wyo., lawyer who said he’s a friend of Wyoming’s Republican senior senator, Mike Enzi, said he’s seeking the Democratic nomination to run against Republican junior Sen. John Barrasso. On-and-off Republican Nick Carter, 44, said he last switched to Democrat a few years ago. Gov. Dave Freudenthal appointed Barrasso, right, last year after the death of Sen. Craig Thomas.
