DENVER—Frontier Airlines Holdings Inc. has agreed to sell four planes to VTB Leasing amid rising fuel costs.
The deal covers two of Frontier’s 49 Airbus A319 aircraft and two of its 11 Airbus A318 aircraft, which VTB Leasing would lease to Rossiya Airlines of Russia.
Financial terms were not disclosed Thursday.
Frontier said in January amid rising fuel costs that it planned to sell four planes while moving ahead with plans to receive larger, 162-seat Airbus A320 aircraft.
