Two boys reported that a man tried to lure them from their home at Collins Aire Trailer Park in Fort Collins on Monday evening, the Larimer County Sheriff’s Office said in a news release.
The two adolescent boys were in their backyard when the man approached from the other side of the fence about 7 p.m. The area is near a railroad yard. The man told the boys not to be afraid and that he “wanted to be friends.”
The two boys ran from the man and told an adult.
Police and dogs searched the area. They found abandoned transient camps, but they were unable to find the man.
