Syracuse will roll out the red carpet this weekend to host the premiere screening of “The Express,” a movie about the career of former Heisman Trophy winner Ernie Davis, who led the Orange to the 1959 national title before dying of leukemia at age 23. Dennis Quaid, who plays former Syracuse coach Ben Schwartzwalder, and Rob Brown, who plays Davis, will attend the screening, as will former Orange greats Jim Brown and Floyd Little. The movie, which opens nationally next month, honors Syracuse’s storied past. The present for the 0-2 Orange, however, leaves much to be desired. The AP
