BERLIN — Knut the superstar polar bear turns 2 today, looking nothing like the button-eyed ball of white fluff who captured hearts around the world. The star of the Berlin Zoo, now 440 pounds, has grown too big for his enclosure. Zoo officials say he will have to move to another zoo. Bearkeeper Heiner Kloes said Knut, who will reach sexual maturity around the age of 6, urgently needs enough space for both him and a fertile mate. Several European zoos are in the running to give Knut and a future mate a home. The Associated Press
