Getting your player ready...
Wherever Mike Shanahan ends up, I hope he takes his overrated, big- mouth quarterback with him.
The Broncos’ Jay Cutler is no more an all-pro than I am. He has a 17-20 record as a starter. He’s not a great QB. The only reason he was voted to the Pro Bowl is because the voting was done in Week 10 or 11. Otherwise, Philip Rivers and Chad Pennington would have taken the place of Cutler and Brett Favre.
You shouldn’t be labeled “great” with a 17-20 record and having never taken your team to the playoffs. Many people didn’t call John Elway great until he won a Super Bowl.
Cutler is not the answer. He made the same mistakes this year that he did in his first year.
In other words, he’s a slow learner.
