A vacant Grand Junction home that officials knew as a magnet for trouble and parties burned to the ground under suspicious circumstances Sunday, according to Lower Valley Fire District Chief Frank Cavaliere.
“It is suspicious because the house had been vacant for a couple of years, and there were no utilities connected.”
The house at 1138 Sundial Road attracted teens who held parties there, and authorities considered it a problem, Cavaliere said.
The fire is under investigation.
