A wooden deck caught on fire this morning in Aurora, spreading into the attic and basement of the home but causing no injuries.

The fire broke out at about 8:35 a.m. at 1998 S. Ouray St., according to the Aurora Fire Department.

Firefighters had the fire out in about 30 minutes.

A man and three dogs were at the home, all evacuated safely, the fire department said.

The cause of the fire, which resulted in about $160,000 in damages, is under investigation.
