Following the formula for Vail’s Epic Pass success during ski season, Eagle County-based Lakota River Guides has created the $199 River Pass, good for five guided rafting trips anytime this season.

According to company co-owner Karl Bor- ski, the offering is designed to benefit Front Range river runners interested in sampling a variety of rivers at the ridiculous rate of roughly $39 a trip. As an added bonus, pass holders can invite up to three friends to tag along at a 20 percent discount. Some restrictions apply.
