RADIUM, Colo.—Rescue teams are continuing to search for a man who fell from a raft into the Colorado River while he was fishing.
Authorities say the 41-year-old man fell into the river Saturday afternoon near the town of Radium while he was with a friend. Grand County Sheriff Rod Johnson says the rescue operation has turned into a search for the man’s body.
Authorities say windy conditions and high water is making the search difficult.
The man’s name has not been released. Authorities say he wasn’t wearing a life jacket.
Radium is about 120 west of Denver.
