Thursday is free admission day for the landmark Federation of Fly Fishers 44th International Fly Fishing Show at the Embassy Suites in Loveland, 4705 Clydesdale Parkway.
Typically held in Montana, it is making a Colorado appearance for the first time in a quarter-century.
The show begins today, features a rich lineup of national and local authorities and runs through Aug. 1. Admission is $5 for nonmembers other days, and visitors may join the federation at the site.
The lineup of national and local authorities includes Lefty Kreh, Bob Jacklin and Dave Whitlock, legends of the sport. Other attractions include booths from many major manufacturers and a variety of workshops designed to hone individual skills.
