The recent September snowstorms serve as a timely reminder for lollygagging skiers and snowboarders to sort out their resort pass situation for the upcoming season. The season pass at Monarch Ski and Snowboard Area is good not only for unlimited lift riding at the modest resort nestled into the southern Sawatch Range off of Colorado 50, but also for free skiing at 10 partner ski areas in four states.
For $319, adults can enjoy a full season of snow sliding at Monarch, along with one free day of unguided skiing at Silverton and three free days at Loveland, Purgatory at Durango, Sunlight and Powderhorn in Colorado.
The pass also works three times each at Angel Fire, Pajarito and Sipapu in New Mexico, and is good for three more days of lift tickets with a lodging reservation at Grand Targhee, Wyo. What’s more, Monarch skiers can ski for half price all season long at Alta, Utah.
