AURORA, Colo.—An eviction notice has been posted at the suburban Denver apartment of a man at the center of a terrorism investigation in New York and Denver.
The notice was posted Tuesday at the unit occupied by 24-year-old Najibullah Zazi (nah-jee-BOO’-lah / ZAH’-zee). He is charged with lying to investigators.
His father, 53-year-old Mohammed Zazi, and other relatives also live in the apartment. Mohammed Zazi is also charged with lying to investigators.
Managers of the Smoky Hill Road Apartments declined to comment.
A spokeswoman for Najibullah Zazi’s attorney, Arthur Folsom, said Folsom was unaware of the eviction notice.
The father and son were scheduled to appear in Denver federal court Thursday for detention hearings.
