No new information has been released today on the death of a 33-year-old Loveland woman whose body was found in her garage.

The body of Kelly Burgess was found Tuesday by a neighbor in the garage of her Gilpin Court home.

The Larimer County Coroner’s Office performed an autopsy yesterday but has not released a cause of death, pending further review and tests.

Loveland police described her death as “unintended.”

“No arrest has been made, and it’s still under investigation,” said Sgt. Ben Hurr, a police spokesman.

Hurr declined further comment.

Neighbors told the Loveland Reporter-Herald newspaper that Burgess lived in the northwest Loveland home with her husband, Brandon Burgess, and young son.

Josh Daniels, a neighbor who went into the house after being alerted that something was wrong, told the newspaper that he walked into the house and found Brandon Burgess lying on the floor, crying.

Kelly Burgess’ body was in the garage, Daniels said.

She was dead, he told the Reporter-Herald, and it appeared she had been shot in the head.
