The discovery of a body along a rural road Wednesday morning in Weld County is being investigated as a likely hit-and-run, authorities said.
Colorado State Patrol investigators believe Jannelle C. Devisser, 28, of Brighton, was hit by a vehicle sometime overnight or early Wednesday morning, said Trooper David Hall, a State Patrol spokesman.
The body was spotted by a school bus driver shortly after 7:30 a.m. near the town of Lochbuie, on Weld County Road 37 just south of Weld County Road 6, Hall said.
