—About 9,600 toy gun sets, made in China and sold at Dollar General stores, because the orange tips on the end of the toy guns’ barrels can easily be removed, posing a choking hazard to children. No injuries or incidents have been reported. The recall involves Special Forces Weapons and Accessories sets and SWAT Police Play Equipment sets. Each set includes two toy guns and accessories. —Pierino Frozen Foods Inc. is recalling its 24-ounce packages of “Jumbo Shells with Cheese” because the pasta products contain eggs, which are not declared on the packaging. Those who have an allergy to eggs run the risk of serious or life-threatening reactions if they eat the products. The Lincoln Park, Mich., company said it is aware of one confirmed reaction reported by a consumer. The recalled “Jumbo Shells with Cheese” products were distributed in retail stores in Michigan, West Virginia, Ohio, Pennsylvania, Indiana, Colorado, Texas, Kentucky, North Carolina, Virginia and Florida.
