DENVER—The Colorado securities commissioner has entered a final cease-and-desist order against a Denver-based company and its owner for alleged violations of the Colorado Securities Act.

Securities Commissioner Fred Joseph said Monday that American Imaging Solutions Inc. and its principal, John C. Walshe Jr., agreed to the order.

Staff of the Division of Securities alleged that Walshe sought to fund the expansion of his company by promising people one-year notes with an annual interest rate of 15 percent if they invested at least $10,000. Walshe and the company were accused of failing to register securities offerings.

Walshe did not immediately return a phone message seeking comment.
