Denver police arrested a 20-year-old man Friday who is wanted as a suspect in the fatal shooting of two men in Aurora on Monday.
Steven Johnston, 20, was taken into custody in Denver, said Shannon Lucy, Aurora Police Department spokeswoman.
Jarell Jordan Rivers, 18, of Aurora, and Paul Maurice Chatman, 28, of Denver, were shot dead Monday evening in a car that was parked at the Sommerset Gardens apartment complex near East Mississippi Avenue and South Blackhawk Street.
Police say the shootings were not random and that all the parties had agreed to meet at the Aurora site where the incident happened.
Police had detained two men shortly after the shooting but they were released.
Police say there are no other suspects. A motive in the case has not been released.
