DENVER—Denver forward Chris Andersen missed the Nuggets’ game Saturday night against the Los Angeles Clippers because of a sprained left ankle.
Andersen twisted his ankle midway through the fourth quarter of a 109-92 win over Portland on Thursday night when he came down awkwardly after trying to block a layup.
He remains listed as day to day.
A key reserve, he’s averaging 6.0 points and 6.4 rebounds.
