Oscar-winning composer and conductor Marvin Hamlisch has cancelled his planned appearance with the Colorado Symphony Orchestra Saturday night due to illness.
According the the CSO, Hamlisch came down with pneumonia and has been ordered to remain at home while he recuperates. He was scheduled to conduct the program “Marvin Hamlisch: Sock Hop Fifties” with Jimmy Beaumont and the Skyliners.
