NEW YORK — Al-Qaeda is launching its first online propaganda magazine in English, a move that could broaden the terror group’s reach inside the U.S.
Counterterrorism officials and terror analysts say the magazine, called Inspire, will be run by al-Qaeda’s branch in Yemen. An ad promoting it says Anwar al-Awlaki will write a guest column for the first issue. Al-Awlaki is a radical U.S.-born cleric now living in Yemen.
