BROOMFIELD — A 31- year-old man is dead and another man faces a first-degree murder charge after a fight erupted at a bar early Sunday, Broomfield police said.
The trouble began at the Night Owl Lounge, at 2000 W. Midway Blvd., about 1:48 a.m., said Sgt. Scott Swenson.
Police who responded to a report of a stabbing found the victim, who wasn’t identified, about one block from the bar. He had been stabbed in the chest and later died.
Officers arrested Matt Joe Weber, 30, of Arvada in the killing.
