SAN DIEGO — San Diego’s new cruise ship terminal is open for business.
The Holland America Rotterdam docked at the Port Pavilion on Wednesday, capping a 30-day cruise to the French Polynesia and Hawaiian islands.
A sour economy forced the San Diego Unified Port District to scale back from more ambitious expansion plans, but the $28 million terminal addresses complaints that the adjacent main terminal was outdated.
