The Adventure Xstreams Series has three stops in Colorado this year, and the first is fast approaching. The series will be in Buena Vista on May 14, and registration is open until May 11. The other Colorado stops are Frisco on July 9 and Glenwood Springs on Sept. 10. There are three courses for the Buena Vista event: sprint (30 miles with a six-hour time limit), sports (50 miles, 12 hours) and adventure (75-100 miles, 18-24 hours). There are divisions for solos, two-person and four-person teams, and the disciplines include kayak, mountain bike, trek and navigation.
