Police are looking for the driver of a car that hit another car during a pursuit Monday night in Douglas County.
At 11:20 p.m., officers responded to reports of a Honda Civic driving on westbound E-470 near Parker Road with its headlights turned off and swerving in and out of lanes, said Ron Hanavan, spokesman for the Douglas County Sheriff’s Office.
Officers attempted to pull the car over, but the driver continued to weave in and out of lanes before hitting another vehicle.
No one was injured during the collision, and the Honda continued driving on E-470.
Officers were able to bump the left, rear side of the Honda, causing it to come to a stop on the median. The car’s occupants then ran away.
Descriptions of the occupants were not immediately available.
The investigation is ongoing and police are still looking for the people who fled from the car.
