The 265-person Roche Colorado site in Boulder is expected to be sold to International Chemical Investors Group, officials for both companies announced Wednesday.
Financial terms of the initial sales agreement between ICIG and Switzerland-based Roche Group were not disclosed.
If the sale closes as expected later this summer, ICIG will acquire the peptides and small molecule manufacturing facility off 55th Street and operate the site as Corden Pharma Colorado Inc.
Corden Pharma, the pharmaceutical arm of ICIG, would then have long-term supply agreements with the Roche Group, said John Tayer, a Roche Colorado spokesman.
