WHEAT RIDGE — An Amber Alert and a frantic search ended happily Friday night when a 3-year- old Wheat Ridge girl was found safe.

According to the alert, Sara Singleton was last seen about 4:15 p.m., walking with a stranger south from her home in the 3600 block of Upham Street.

She was found safe about 8:45 p.m. in her father’s nearby apartment.

Officials on Friday night were trying to determine what happened.
