After all, the Los Angeles Lakers forward has a few legal issues to navigate after a Los Angeles court commissioner delayed ruling on the name change until Sept. 16, with Artest’s outstanding traffic warrants cited for the delay. If Artest can follow the wisdom of King, who also said, “We must combine the toughness of the serpent and the softness of the dove,” then perhaps Metta World Peace will be free at last.
