“Everything Must Go”

*** 1/2 stars (out of four) | Will Ferrell is a man who has hit bottom. An alcoholic who lost his job arrives home to see that his wife has tossed all his belongings onto the lawn. No wife, no home, no job — so he has a garage sale. R. 1 hour 36 minutes. (Roger Moore, Orlando Sentinel)

“Hanna”

*** stars (out of four) | Saoirse Ronan is ferocious and touching as the titular heroine in this fairy tale of innocence and treachery. Hanna has been trained by her father to kill a CIA nemisis named Marissa Wiegel if she comes for her. Marissa does, and she’s portrayed with ice in the veins by Cate Blanchett. Director Joe Wright is as fleet with this smart action flick as he was measured with “Atonement,” which introduced audiences to Ronan’s undeniable talents. PG-13. 1 hour 35 minutes. (Lisa Kennedy, The Denver Post)
