The woman who was arrested on suspicion of attempted murder after Boulder County sheriff’s investigators allege she stabbed a neighbor had her bond set at $500,000 in her first court appearance today.

Anna Nicole O’Neill, 27, of Allenspark, was arrested on suspicion of stabbing a woman who lived in a nearby house in an argument, according to the Boulder County Sheriff’s Office.

The 63-year-old victim, whom officials have not identified, was taken to a Longmont hospital with serious injuries.

O’Neill’s next court appearance is 2 p.m. Tuesday for a filing of charges. She could face charges of attempted first-degree murder and first-degree assault.
