The pilot killed in a plane crash near Alamosa on Thursday afternoon was identified Friday as a pastor from Salida.
The Cessna 337 crashed about 4:30 p.m., 2 miles south of Alamosa, Federal Aviation Administration spokesman Allen Kenitzer said in an e-mail.
The Lutheran Association of Missionaries and Pilots on its website identified the pilot as the Rev. Steve Dreher of Salida.
The plane was traveling from San Luis Valley Regional Airport-Bergman Field in Alamosa to Salida.
