Colorado gambling regulators Thursday approved a rule change that allows casinos to download promotional credits onto a patron’s player card, which can be inserted into slot machines for play. Previously, casinos had to issue cash in exchange for the promotional credits, which generally range from $5 to $25 and are mailed to entice gamblers to their properties.
