YANGON, Myanmar — Democracy leader Aung San Suu Kyi intends to run for parliament, a decision that was expected after her party decided last week to rejoin mainstream politics in long-isolated Myanmar.
Nyan Win, the spokesman of Suu Kyi’s National League for Democracy, said Monday that she has not yet decided which district she will seek to represent.
