ACC’s Automotive Technology program, which was nationally recognized as the “2011 School of the Year” by Tomorrow’s Technician magazine last May, now provides intensive training in hybrid conversion and hybrid technology repair. Plug-in and Hybrid Electric Vehicles (PHEV) technologies hold great promise – from rejuvenating the auto industry to creating quality, domestic jobs.

Arapahoe Community College will serve as a location for the Tax Help Colorado program in February. ACC will facilitate Tax Help Colorado on Feb. 10, 17 and 24 from noon-7 p.m. at the Littleton campus on each of those Fridays.

Tax Help Colorado, which is a partnership between The Piton Foundation and the Colorado Community College System, provides Colorado families with the opportunity to have their tax return prepared and e-filed by IRS-certified college students. ACC and Camp MissFits, a fitness coaching program for women at the college, plans to host boot camps benefiting local charities on the fourth Saturday of each month during the 2012 spring semester. For more information, please call 720-951-0101.
