A 10-year-old girl was taken to the hospital this afternoon after she was hit by a vehicle in Denver.
Shortly before 3 p.m., the girl was hit near 7005 Leetsdale Drive, said Det. John White, a spokesman for the Denver Police Department.
The driver of the vehicle stopped to help the girl.
The girl was taken to Denver Health Medical Center. Her injuries are not life-threatening, White said.
